Large American Bank – Newport Beach

DEB Construction has recently completed six floors for a large American bank’s new regional offices in one of the most prestigious addresses in Orange County, The Irvine Company’s twenty-one story 520 Newport Center Drive Tower. These six floors of offices were constructed in fifteen weeks from notice to proceed.

Hoag Center for Healthy Living – Costa Mesa

DEB Construction just finished the interior and exterior remodel of the two-story 307 Placentia Building in Costa Mesa, CA.

Since its founding in 1995, Hoag’s Heart of Hoag Community Benefit Program provides medical services, health education and mental health services to improve the lives of those with limited or no access to quality health care.

Confidential Client – San Francisco

Our confidential client purchased a high-rise building on Market Street and began a full interior remodel for their main point of presence here on the west coast of the U.S.  Included in the remodel are 13 sound labs for use by various sound critical enterprises such as the motion picture industry and all types of musical ensembles.  These sound labs are scattered throughout the third through tenth floors of the building.

DEB Construction was brought in as an MBE subcontractor to echo proof these labs and to create the “perfect” acoustical environment for top of the line sound needs.  This included installing sound reflective & sound absorption treatments on walls and floors.  The reflective treatments are designed as multiple rows of domes and cone pyramids mounted on the walls in varying patterns and clusters, floor to ceiling, to achieve just the right environment for sound manipulation.

Sound attenuation extended to treating the floors, which were raised 6” and drilled with various sized holes in precisely engineered patterns on the decking and filled with special denim insulation to allow sound to enter and never leave.  Such a system are called Bass Traps which trap the bass or lower tones so that the user or a sound recorder experiences the tone once and never again and not jumbled bouncing sound waves that confuse the sound component essential to the client that relies on sound as near perfection as is available today in such sound rooms.

Large American Bank – Palm Desert

DEB Construction recently completed a ground-up for a large American bank in Palm Desert.  This 5,000 SF one story Branch included new ATA machines located in the vestibule and in the drive through lanes.  The bank building is surrounded with new sidewalk, parking lot, palm trees, and landscape.  The site work was contracted through Developer and Landlord Passco Development.

Project challenges included Utility Company changes and 25 pages of County conditional items to be signed off before granting the certificate of occupancy.

Despite challenges, DEB Construction received the Certificate of Occupancy final inspection for both interior and exterior one week before the bank turn over day (BTO).  DEB received a 100% SRA (site readiness assessment) score from the Bank.

Hoag Fishback Foundation Building

DEB Construction, LLC. was awarded this project after Thanksgiving 2014 and had 13 weeks to complete the space before tenant move in. The project consisted of a full gut of the interior and remodel, structurally upgrading 20% of the structure to allow for a vaulted 2 story boardroom/conference area and a modernization of the exterior which included two new entry canopies, sidewalks, parking lot renovation, restripe and decorative wood entry wall.

Even with a four week delay in receiving the building permit, DEB still turned over the project on-time.
